Meet the Team

  • Max Tan

    Violin, Project Director

    Currently in his third year of doctoral studies at The Juilliard School, Max is the primary director of this recording and research project. His dissertation subject focuses on Chausson’s Poème and Ysaÿe’s arrangement for violin, piano, and organ. He also completed preliminary studies and edits of Ysaÿe’s manuscripts for this recording.   • Chris Yuejian Chen

    Organ

    Organist Chris Yuejian Chen is in his third year of doctoral studies at The Juilliard School. Currently based in Shanghai, Chris is sought after as a consultant on organs in China and interested in arts education.

    Producer and Recording Engineer

    Marlan Barry specializes in orchestra, chamber, operatic, and electro-acoustic and jazz recordings.     Engraver

    Composer and conductor Christian-Frédéric Bloquert is currently in his graduate studies at The Juilliard School.
